It would certainly seem so, in my experience. In December, I swapped my
old Core-2 Duo MB/CPU for a shiny new I3 setup. I just plugged the disks
in, and it came up fine. This using Mint17, or maybe it was Mint14 -- I
don't remember when I did that upgrade.
