That's much more than we pay for a full rack, redundant power (208v &
110v), and 10 mpbs sustained on a 1gbe drop.

A new box from system76 with 256GB would be ~$6,000 with

You might consider buying refurbished. I just bought 3 x Dell r720xd with 2
x e5-2660v2 106GB[avg] RPS and rails (no disk) for $6K including shipping.
