Well, after apt-get purging it, and then re-installing, it's working.
Though there is some odd stuff. For example, dmenu.xft works when piping
a list of items to it, but not when just invoking it "bare". So,
apparently, it doesn't make a list of executables as dmenu_run does.

I might play around with it some more. The Arch Linux site has some
example usages.

Has anyone played around with other similar programs, such as Albert,
kupfer, or Rofi?
