[lug] QTerminal Oddities

Speaking of head scratchers, after a period of more than 30 days,
the cut function from qterminal (a qt5 application) abruptly stops
working but the paste works for clipboard items set by other
programs (e.g. firefox). Cut & paste in other apps is not affected.
This a plain X setup, not wayland.

Anybody experienced this?

On the web I see similar reports for gnome terminal related to wayland
from 2015 for redhat but no resolution or explanation.
