[lug] Rsyslogd Still Useful on Home Fedora Box?

Hi,

I noticed my Fedora 27 runs rsyslogd. I'm not positive about whether this is actually used when I'm neither sending nor receiving any remote logs. On the other hand, with systemd, journald, and other configurations complicating life, I am curious if there is any reason I shouldn't just disable rsyslogd? Would this cause a stop in logging of something I did not expect?

Thanks!
