[lug] minikube (k8) question on Ubuntu 18.04

No, no source. The env didn't seem to help.
The best bet may be that it's from a mixture of adding the K8 apt repo and
doing a 'snap install minikdc'. There's supposed to be isolation but maybe
it's not as strong as it should be.
