gdisk /dev/sde
GPT fdisk (gdisk) version 1.0.5
Problem opening /dev/sde for reading! Error is 123.
I did find a StackExchange mentioning 123:
https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/207639/how-to-change-the-gpt-partition-type-of-an-efi-partition
"gpt" is now "G-Portugol", and I guess gpt as referenced above is now
gdisk, but gdisk doesn't have an -r option.
I can't scribble over the front of the disk, because dd tells me no medium
found.
Anyhow, I think I'll just take it back to Microcenter, before the snow
flies.
Thanks all, for the input. It's at least been interesting.
