[lug] Linux laptops

Dell, Compaq, and IBM sell pre-installed Linux, even
on their laptops.  VAResearch (VALinux) used to, but
they have discontinued the practice.  I just happen to
have had a conversation with them on Monday, and
they are exploring architectures to see if they want to
resume the practice again.
