www.lonetar.com has good support, is cheaper than www.unitrends.com (backup
professional and CTAR) but also has less features. LoneTar is also a very reliable
package using a text interface. With any backup package the installation may take
a little while because some of the included libraries and commands (echo, tar, ...)
deviate from their equivalent in the commercial UNIX world. But tech support for
both of the above packages is superior. Backup Professional has a very nice X
interface and a text interface. So while you are on the LAN you can really power
search databases extremely comfortably... - and from home you can still check on
your backup with a very fast text interface.

You can't go wrong with either package! I would stay away from some others though
(like BRU). We purchased a license for BRU and aren't using it anymore because it
is way to cumbersome and slow!
