Dear Bluggers,

I have a serious problem with my new Linux installation that I hope you can
help me with. Simply put, LILO refuses to boot windows. I have two hard
drives and I installed Windows 98 on one (2 years ago) and just upgraded to
Linux-Mandrake 7.2 on the second. I had 6.0 on there before and it worked
just fine. However, after completely overwriting the drive with the 7.2
installation, I cannot get LILO to boot Windows.

In fact, before I set the default to Windows, LILO didn't even detect the
Windows drive. When I then defaulted to Windows, the LILO choices would come
up, but it just would not boot windows. I noticed that the linux start-up
had some error about a bad block on the windows hard drive or something.

Has anyone encountered similar problems? Any help you can give me would be
*very* appreciated. Thanks! -Scott
