[lug] OS X looks pretty nice

Let's see. Linux on the Titanium Powerbook....sounds interesting. I see no
reason why it won't work (it runs on my Cube and dual G4 tower). But linux
doesn't use Altivec (or whatever it's called) so under linux your G4
basically turns into a G3. OS X is beautiful, it is a huge step up from the
old MacOS, it is... a huge resource hog, that 128Meg minimum is the minimum
(I suggest 256 for really good performance, and don't even try it on 64).
I like the Aqua UI though, if someone were to transplant it to X for Linux
I would probably dump Enlightenment. Oh, and of course you'll have to wait
for OS X DVD support (but then you probably didn't care about that if your
considering Linux).
Overall I like linux on x86 machines, but once Apple irons the bugs out
of OS X I'll be more inclined to use that on my Macs.
