[lug] /etc/passwd entry

Ok, well I had guessed right (I thought gdm belonged to gnome desktop 
prog). I did not have the gdm package installed on my system though 
which is why I was wondering about the account. I went ahead an removed 
the gdm account, this box doesn't even run X. So far no problems  :)
