Yes - CNN's server farm _should_ be fast.

That's why I suspect some router issue - CNN's data is coming through a clogged AT&T pipe.

Hmmm ... I wonder if AT&T limits upload bandwidth by IP address, and can't keep straight which addresses are theirs?
