As far as the ac goes and ups, make sure you are using isolated grounds,
alot of electricans dont know how to do this correctly. In fact very few do.
I would suggest talking to David from Boulder Electric. He knows everything
electrical related.This also applies to data lines, data lines share the 
same ground as electrical , dont want surge comming up data lines, so be 
sure
to isolate there grounds too, and add surge suppres.
