A regular old Pentium is capable of doing firewall filtering and routing
for a 100 Mb/s connection.

Now, if you want to start using IPSec or another VPN, then a faster CPU
is better.

Or you might not want to keep extra, useless hardware around, in which
case you may want to set up the K6 as the router and throw away the P2.

I would keep the P2 as a router, because it's already set up, and I'd
also keep the K6, because I might find something to do with it later.
