I use a combination of samba, rsync and bru.  I have a remote Linux
box that has smbmounted the Windows boxs and a cron job that rsyncs
the data via ssh to my workstation which has another cron job to back
that data to tape via bru.  Not saying it's the best nor is it
complete by any means either.
