I certainly don't want that aspect to change.  In general, I don't
like heavily graphics-intensive pages on sites where I'm simply
looking for information.  I'd say BLUG counts as that sort of site.
For the websites of artists, I feel differently.

Yes, I have thought about it. Zope does many of the same things that
HTML::Mason does. (See http://www.masonbook.com/) Automation can take
various forms: "Content management" is one form, but for what I've got
in mind, Plone, Bricolage, and things like it would be tremendous
overkill.  Yes, it involves a database, and yes, it involves a
website, but beyond that, there's not a huge resemblance to "CMS
Systems" as I understand the term.  That is, I'm *really* not planning
to turn BLUG into a site like LWN or Salon.  Nothing wrong with them,
it's just mostly pointless for what I think the BLUG site should be for.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.  It always helps to know what tools
are available to get things done more easily.
