[lug] Who sells good Linux computers?

I'm fairly new to this group, having read the letters awhile.
Couldn't find anything under < http://lug.boulder.co.us/index.html > on
this one.

I'm running a dinosaur Compaq with Fedora Core 3 Test 1 (still not offically
out; I recommend avoiding it as some software is still buggy), and
want to get a new computer.

I don't care to touch Dell, as one must buy Microsoft OS with them.  There
are plenty of vendors out there selling Linux boxes these days, from
low end Wal-Mart boxes to sky's-the-limit computers, but who is truly 
worthwhile?  I'm not into gaming, and want a good, serviceable computer 
that I can customize a bit, i.e., at least 512 Mb of memory, a zip drive, ...
