Hello,
 I have installed fedora core 2 to add some diversity for a slave
mysql server (the master is Debian). When I issue the command

netstat -tap

i get this ...
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address
State       PID/Program name
tcp        0      0 *:ssh                   *:*
LISTEN      1263/sshd

tcp        0      0 ::ffff:192.168.1.18:ssh ::ffff:192.168.1.:52509
ESTABLISHED 18814/0

(sorry if above wraps)

So why is netstat using ::ffff instead of the ip or name?

thanks,
jd
