[lug] Local phone service with Comcast--any experience?

I moved back to Boulder a year ago and decided to skip land line 
telephone service entirely. My reasons were twofold; first, a cell phone 
is more flexible, and second, I wanted cable tv so getting broadband 
packaged with it made sense.

The only disadvantage to not having a land line is that when calling 911 
in an emergency they don't have your specific location.
