[lug] Heartbeat and Firewalls

Has anyone on the list ever set up a HA firewall using Linux and 
Heartbeat or keepalived?

I'm trying to help a friend set up a HA firewall and heartbeat is pretty 
easy to make work.  So far from what I can tell I can use either 
heartbeat or keepalived.  I'm just trying to figure out 
advantages/disadvantages of either.  And yes, I know that the state 
tracking data isn't replicated and we're willing to deal.
