[lug] Adding Sata drives help

OK,

The drives are on the same controller. I've used Hugh's advice and this what I 
get.

Unable to open /dev/sdb
linux:~ # fdisk /dev/sdc

Unable to open /dev/sdc

Any thoughts.

I'm going to boot up Knoppix and see if it sees them.
