[lug] Issues with RedHat Enterprise

Thanks for the help everyone but I think I figured out my problem.

Enterprise 5 added a "NETWORKING_IPV6" line to my clients 
/etc/sysconfig/network file that is not playing nice with the nfs on my 
Enterprise 4 server.  When I remove that line from the file and reboot 
things speed up and I get that Matlab code running at normal speeds. 
Not sure if it will fix the firefox issue or the C++ but I'll test that 
today.
