> anybody recommend a good cushy male seat to protect the family jewels?

No recommendations, just my story. I used to bike *quite* a lot when I
was teenager/early 20s (now I'm mid-30). *Quite* means two hours per
day on average, every day (some days I biked all day long, some
others, ehm, I had to go to school)
I used a seat similar to the one in this picture (I haven't read the
article, but you might find it interesting):

It didn't feel like a couch, but the "hole" was very comfortable. I
didn't measure myself, just bought the seat from the recommendation of
the shop owner I trusted.

I never had a problem with the jewels (knock on wood!) so far. No
problems even when my wife and I decided to have a baby (we have a
healthy 1.6years old and we are expecting another one in May).

I know, medical recommendations are better not given with stories, but
here is mine :-)

I'm glad to see how many bikers are on this list, we'd better rename
it Bikers Linux User Group :-P

Bye,
;Dav
PS: being a dad, I don't bike when there is snow/ice on the streets,
which means after Thanksgiving - but I don't drive either: I walk and
ride the bus.
