[lug] tv tuner under ubuntu?

Does anyone know how to get a tv tuner working under ubuntu? I had it
working on my old laptop so I know Linux supports it, it's just a matter of
figuring out where the drivers have migrated to.

It's a Hauppauge WinTV HVR USB dongle and did pick up the Comcast digital
channels, at least in 2009 or so.
