I've always used nVidia with such things. You have to put their kernel in, but I get good performance this way. I use fedora.

Subject: [lug] multi monitor setup

I was curious if anyone
has played around with a multi monitor setup like what I am
envisioning. One system with 3 wall mounted TV's and a projector
connected. I want the ability to display select desktops and/or
individual windows on the various video outputs.

      The basic idea is.....

      Firefox browser displayed on TV#1

      Terminal on TV #2

VLC video displayed on TV #3
Libreoffice
      presentation on the projector

I'm open to any ideas on any Linux distro. I'm also hedging my bet
by investigation a windows solution as well.

    cheers

    Steve
