[lug] Python 101

IIRC, the Head First series annoys me with baby talk.
I loved Quick Python, but I wish they'd update it.

If you don't want to go outside, consider:

Head First Python (really basic)

and/or

The Quick Python Book (one of the best books I've ever seen)
