Did you install the appropriate development libraries? I'd check for
"glibc-devel" first.

You could also visit the rpmfind distribution tree for Red Hat 6.1
(http://rufus.w3.org/linux/RPM/redhat/6.1/i386/Tree.html), find the "errno.h"
file which was missing, and determine exactly which RPM it comes from.
