   Hmmm ... perhaps I missed something since I didn't see anyone mentioning
   that there would be a demo of LaTeX / LyX.  Who is doing this?  I agree
   that someone should put this together though.  [Wayde]

I can demonstrate producing a LaTeX document if you like.  The cycle
would be: create source code in editor (Emacs), compile with the LaTeX
compiler, display with xdvi or ghostview, print if required.
