I am using Interfold as my isp. I "believe" since I have an always on
connection it uses the bridging mode. Anyhow, the cisco has a sticker on the
bottom of it that shows it's default configuration, and it says "Bridging".
According to the Cisco doc's in this mode the router basically functions as a
wire connection from the CO to your computer and nothing else. This is how the
cable modems worked, if I understand correctly.
