Yep, on a RedHat 6.1 at my parents' house in Lakewood.

The basics are pretty simple:


Cable
Modem
  |
  |
NIC 1
Linux
NIC 2
  |
  |
 Hub


And the hub connects to the computers inside the house.

The IP Masquerading script is fairly simple, and I'll gladly send you a copy if
you're interested.
