I've used the XOR version, nothing fancy. One very annoying problem is
that fsck doesn't appear to be capable of checking it :(

I'm not sure if I was just missing something, or whether fsck isn't
capable of using loopback layers the way mount does. Been a long time
since I tried anything related.
