What is your time worth?

I would just go buy a $35.00 case and move the guts.  (although the HP case is
probably
much nicer then the $35 variety so this may not apply).

Lacking that I would do as LJP said and get some connectors from any place
that
has old dead computer cases or J. B. Saunders. Get the connectors you need
with the wire attached. Cut the wire in the middle (or just cut of what is on
the opposite end of the connector you need), cut off the molded plastic
connector, through some heat shrink tubing on and solder them together.
