I forgot to mention this. I'm not completely sure but if I remember
correctly a fresh install includes $APACHE_ROOT/htdocs as a symbolic link
to /home/httpd

But regardless, right under the ServerName directive in httpd.conf you'll
see DocumentRoot. Just point that to whatever dir apache will be serving
from.
