Did you look in the /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386 sub-directory to find your
built RPM files?

Subject: [lug] RPM issues
I'm pretty new to Redhat and dealing with RPMs. I've tried to be a good
boy and only install softare via RPM so the dependancies don't get
hosed. I'm having a problem now. I'm running RH 7.1 and when I run the
Red Carpet software updater (Very cool when it works I must admit) It
fails every dependancy. The packages it complains about I know are
installed (it complains bout 100's of them). It appears my rpm database
is hosed. Is there any way to fix this?
I've tried a rpm --rebuilddb It ground away for about 30 mins and
appeared to have no effect. Any suggestions?
