[lug] FTP ERRORS??

Hi all,
I've been getting a wierd FTP error. I've seen it mentioned all over the
internet, but I've found no solutions.
This is what's coming up:

421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection
Login failed.
No control connection for command: Transport endpoint is not connected

I'm running RH 6.2 and ProFTPD 1.2.2rc2 in a chroot environment.
Can anybody shed light on this situation??
