Just to be canonical, IDSL is run over an ISDN line, but it uses all three
channels for data so you get a little bit better speed.  You can't use it
for voice communications though.  The reason it's cheaper than current ISDN
pricing is that it's set up to act like DSL -- your ISDN connection runs to
the CO, where it's put on the ATM network to reach your ISP.

Qwest just recently increased the price of ISDN to the $140-ish range for
the line only, so IDSL is competitive.  Not cheap, mind you.  ;-)
