[lug] RH 5.2 IMAP

I have a RedHat 5.2 server that I upgraded the RPM for IMAP and PAM on. Now, I 
can't login using POP3.

If I telnet to port 110, I get the POP3 server.

When I type USER me, PASS mypass, I get ERR BADLOGIN

I have verified the account can login to the machine from the console

I tried creating a ipop3d file in the /etc/pam.d sub-directory

The file looks like this:

#%PAM-1.0
auth       required	/lib/security/pam_pwdb.so shadow nullok
auth       required	/lib/security/pam_shells.so
account    required	/lib/security/pam_pwdb.so
session    required	/lib/security/pam_pwdb.so

I feel like I have a PAM problem but I don't have strace installed so I can't 
figure it out.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
