[lug] scp tools?

I downloaded the SRPM for GFTP 2.0.11 and re-built it (my regular box is an
Alpha) and it worked with SSH2 like a champ.

I had a problem with another machine and found that if you have a banner
enabled with SSH, it blows up GFTP. Once I turned off the banner, it worked
correctly with password authentication.

I have been looking for a Win32 client lately. We are hosting a web site and
many people will be using it. I REALLY didn't want to allow FTP access.

For Win32 I found this:

http://i-tree.org/ixplorer.htm

I installed it and it seems to work OK. The lite version is GPLd and Free.
The one problem I found is that I couldn't figure out how to change out of
my home directory to another directory. I also didn't care for the user
interface, but this is an opinion.

After I found that, I kept looking and found:

http://winscp.vse.cz/eng/

It seems to be much nicer in terms of user interface. I really like it much
more than ixplorer.

Hmm. Fascinating. I did not know gftp supported that. I do have an old
version, I'll look closer at this, I like gftp.
