[lug] hacked!!...not me

Hello,
  A person from another lug was hacked. The hacker got through his
netopia security device. I did a search and cant seem to find much.
so does anyone know of a remote exploit for netopia. I have never
used anything other than iptables, can netopia be upgraded, software
wise or firmware.
