[lug] WINE

I have never successfully done anything useful with Wine.  Admittedly,
this includes running things like QuickBooks 2001 and M$ Word.  However,
this is somewhat surprising considering I have Windoze 2000 installed on
the same machine and use the native DLL's.  Also, I have never
successfully installed anything (i.e., running the InstallShield
script).

I have been able to run WinAmp, Solitaire, earlier versions of IE,
Mozilla, and maybe AvantGo (I don't remember for sure).

Still, I don't want to discourage you.  You should give it the old
college try--perhaps it will meet your needs.
