[lug] OT: ATT Broadband service interruptions?

I don't have any experience with ATT, however I would highly recommend 
replacing the cable modem itself.  It's obviously got a problem if you 
can bump it, and it resets.  As you say, there must be a loose wire/part 
inside.  After it's replaced, see if you still have the problem.
