[lug] Mandrake 9 on Thinkpad loads all but ethernet pcmcia card

Hi all!
I was wondering if anyone can suggest something else I can do to try and
debug this.
I'm having an interesting problem when I insert a Megahertz 3CXFE575BT
ethernet pcmcia card into my IBM Thinkpad T20 running Mandrake 9.
It's apparently trying to use IRQ 11 which is already being shared by the sound
and USB devices. However, if I hard code IRQ's in the BIOS (there doesn't seem
to be a switch to turn of Plug n Play), it uses one that's only be used by the
PCMCIA bus and still yields the same errors.
On the other hand, I also have a Megahertz PCMCIA modem and various memory
cards, all of which work just dandy. I also didn't have any problems with
Mandrake 8.2.
I've also tried rmmod'ing all the devices it seems to be trying to load
(usb, sound, internal ethernet) and it still yields the same errors.
Does anyone know either what the problem is or any direction I can go in to
debug this?
Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you very much in advance!
-Jeff
Here's the excerpt from the syslog when I insert the card. Note that hotplug
is seemingly trying to load drivers for the 3com PC card, USB, sound, and
internal ethernet (mini-pci).
