You can download the client from www.cisco.com after
you sign up to get an account.  Since the VPN client
uses cryptography, you'll have to fill out the export
compliance agreement.

The docs say it works with "Linux for Intel—Red Hat
Version 6.2 or later, or compatible libraries with
glibc Version 2.1.1-6 or later, using kernel Versions
2.2.12 or later."  Maybe the older version had a more
restrictive requirement for the kernel version.

Don't think it has a gui, but it's easy enough to
script VPN connections using the CLI.

Interestingly, the Cisco group that develops this
client is here in town.
