[lug] DHCP Question

I just changed a network over from using DHCP on a Linksys wireless
router/switch to a Linux server. I didn't encounter any noticeable
problems. I just rebooted all of the machines and they came up with a
new address. I did of course, make sure the DHCP service was turned off
on the Linksys before I did the reboot.

Another thing that has helped me in the past (for windows DHCP clients,
linux DHCP servers) is to power cycle all the switches in between the
clients and server. Hubs, being more low-level than switches, don't
matter.
