[lug] Question on allowable posts to BLUG

Such a request, regardless of the source, is a request for permission
to solicit marketing input from list users. Not terribly different
from the folks you see in the mall with clipboards and pestering
shoppers with "You wanna take a survey?" inquiries.
It's my opinion, that such is not appropriate on this list. My sincere
appreciation, however to the person being polite enough to ask first.

PS- Is it just me or does this look like a sneaky way of Chris to get
input data for his email list processing project. <grin>
