Sorry for the late response.  I've had good results with the Hawking 
Technologies HWU54G, which utilizes the Zydas ZD1211 chip.  Source for 
native driver is available for DL.  It's actually USB2, but backwards 
campatible with USB1, which I think is the case for most if not all USB2 
devices.
