Barcamp - the unconvention:
"A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to
share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with
discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees."
The beauty of the concept is to take advantage of who shows up and
what they're interested in talking about and doing.
After the success of Barcamp Denver in August, another barcamp
is coming to Boulder in a week and a half - Fri-Sat Nov 11 and 12.

34 people are signed up already.
One thing that seems to be missing is a sponsor to provide a location,
and all the glory and karma that goes along with that.... Anyone in
Boulder that "gets it" and has some suitable space is invited to
propose it. Barcamps typically need wifi access and a number of
conference rooms. LCD projectors, space for crashing overnight, etc
are typically welcomed if available. Contact one of the organizers,
as listed at
http://barcamp.org/BarCampBoulderVolunteers
or post your offer on the site.
