[lug] apt-get dist-upgrade errors

I'm trying to update Kubuntu 6.06 to 6.10 using the official mechanism for 
Kubuntu, which is 
* Change all instances of dapper to edgy
 * Launch a console with KMenu -> System -> Konsole
 * In the console run: sudo apt-get update
 * In the console run: sudo apt-get dist-upgrade and follow the prompts to 
upgrade
 * In the console run: sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop python-qt3 
python-kde3 ubuntu-minimal and follow the prompts to install
 * Reboot your computer

I'm about 1/3 of the way through the dist-upgrade download and there have been 
some download failures:

I'm not used to Debian-ish tools -- until November my experience was all with 
rpms.

Am I correct in assuming that I should re-run the dist-upgrade step until 
stops finding stuff to download before proceeding to the install step? That 
kdesktop error worries me...

Is there some other apt-get options I should use instead to make it go back 
and get the missing files?
