Anyone know of a way to rescue a dead connection? I was editing a
file via ssh connection and forgot to save before I got sidetracked.
Since thin I got disconnected due to idle. Now that I am reconnected,
I see the process is still there. Any way I can tell it to save or
any way I can resume the session?

I already know 'screen' should have been used! I know it protects
against this sort of thing. Looking for other suggestions since it is
too late for screen.

Thanks,
